And The Revolution Begins

Some "real" Conservatives, lead by John McCain will now spend the next four years trying to take back their party from the radical wing. Here are our first two contestants.

Lincoln Chaffee, Senator from Rhode Island
announced before the election that he "Probably wouldn't vote for President Bush." Senator Chaffee said he had problems with Bush's stances on, "the environment, Iraq, and women's reproductive freedoms."

Arlen Specter from Pennsylvania. Specter is also the likely chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, key in any Supreme Court nomination had
this to say to the President earlier this week, "The president is well aware of what happened when a number of his nominees were sent up, with the filibuster. And I would expect the president to be mindful of the considerations which I am mentioning."

This driving the
"moral right" crazy and they are already starting a campaign to keep Specter from chairing that committee. "It is unacceptable for one liberal Republican from Pennsylvania to thwart the desires of the president of the United States to make our federal courts more conservative and more in tune with the values of the American people," said Gary Bauer, President of American Values.

Take minute to drop Senator Specter a note and tell him to keep up the good fight.

There will be more, just watch them stand up and fight for control of their party
